Often, at significant times, I like to create little rituals, setting intentions and invoking the higher energies of the transits into my life.

Pluto in Capricorn:  Honor the “inner adult”.  Become more mature,  grounded, practical.  Integrity is important.  Practice patience and self-discipline.  Find practical supports for your self-sufficiency.   Pluto wants us to evolve by transforming what needs to be healed.

Shadow energy to avoid: becoming icily unemotional.

Challenge to entrenched power and misuse of power; repositioning of power; Continued transformation of institutions

Eclipses:  New Moon Solar Eclipse in Aquarius-  Jan 25/26

                    Full Moon Lunar Eclipse in Leo – Feb 9

The two weeks between these eclipses can be seen as a window of opportunity to empower what we focus on.

This can also be used as an opportunity to “eclipse” what no longer serves our highest good

Saturn in Virgo: “Tis the gift to be simple”; downsize; be practical and economize; use your skills or develop skills to be of high service to others; be discerning and discriminating: Virgo energy wants us to live a healthy lifestyle.

Shadow energy to avoid: being too perfectionistic; nit picky with self and others.

Saturn in Libra: Be mature in relationships; bring harmony, balance  and calm to your daily life

Beginning Oct 30 for two and one half years

Saturn opposite Uranus: Creative change; change for the better;

“If it ain’t broke don’t fix it”, but perhaps redefine your job, relationship; modify where necessary; be an innovator; be discerning and release what no longer serves you; do not hold onto the old because of “habitchual” thinking

Venus in Aries: Will yourself to be loving; Assertively value peace and beauty   Beware of short lived infatuations. Venus is usually in a sign for a few weeks.  It is fascinating that this year it is in Aries for 4 months.

Feb 4, 2009 until June 6, 2009

Mercury is Retrograde  Jan 11 – Feb 3; May 6 – May 30;

Sept 6 – 28  When Mercury is retrograde it is an invitation to take pause: rethink, review, reevaluate; Understand if things seem go awry, Mercury energy wants us to slow down.
